Golden Triangle 247 was designed to serve the people of Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange Texas as a one-stop place to find local businesses, jobs, and most of all community.

You do not have to register for an account on Golden Triangle, however, unregistered visitors have limited access to the features and services offered by Golden Triangle.

As an unregistered visitor, you may:

• Browse through any of the posted Classified Ads, Auto Listings, Real Estate Listings, Event Calendar, and Job openings
• Browse through our Business Listings Directory
• Read through posted topics in the Discussion Forums
• Email Golden Triangle 247 for more information or with your suggestions and feedback
• Subscribe to any posting or category via our RSS Feed

Registered members may also:

• Post any Classified Ad, Auto Listing, Real Estate Listing, Event, or Job Opening
• View contact information for any listing on the site
• Apply to job openings
• Post a profile to the Golden Triangle 247 Singles Scene area
• Subscribe to and read local news from the area's top resources
• Find coupons, horoscopes, movie listings, and other helpful bits of information and entertainment
• Create a blog
• Post topics in the discussion forums
• Leave comments and reviews on Business Listings, Classified Ads, forum topics, or blog entries

Registered members also enjoy these benefits when creating listings or blog entries:

• Choose your own keywords for searches (both onsite search indexes and offsite search indexes)
• Post unlimited Event listings and Job Openings.
• Complete control over your listings
• Easily extend the expiration date and time of your listings without having to run through loads of red tape.

As with most sites that ask you for your personal information, Golden Triangle 247 does collect different pieces of information about you. Some of this information is collected without your prior knowledge, while other pieces of information is asked for in advance (at which time you may choose not to share such information).

Classified ads are unpublished for several reasons. If you received an email that your ad has been removed from view on the Golden Triangle 247 site, you must ensure the following:

1. Make sure that the ad had not already past the expiration date. By default, all classified ads expire 30 days after they have been published to the site. You may set this time to be less than 30 days at the time you publish your ad should you need it to run for less time. Once 30 days has passed, the ad will automatically be unpublished from the site and removed from view.
2. You may have posted the ad incorrectly. Classified ads must be posted as a classified ad. If you posted the ad as part of your profile, discussion forum topic, or job opening, these items are unpublished and removed from view on the site. This is so we can keep our site organized and help make your ads easier to find by the people who are looking for them.
3. If your ad violates our terms of service, it is unpublished and removed from view on the site.

Please note, when an ad becomes unpublished, it is not deleted from our system. You may still access the classified ad to edit or change the expiration date, or you may request that revisions be made to the ad.

If you received an email that your classified ad has been unpublished and you believe it was done in error, please feel free to contact us right away and report the error.

If you've created a Classified Ad listing, Autos Listing, Real Estate Listing, Event Listing, or Job Opening and cannot find your listing, try some of the following steps.

1. Make sure you are logged into your Golden Triangle 247 account. Some listings can only be seen by registered members of Golden Triangle 247.
2. Has the listing already been approved? Remember, all listings have to be approved for publishing before they will appear on the site. This approval process can take a couple of hours up to a couple of days depending on our workload.
3. Was the listing complete? Listings that are missing information or are found to be incomplete do not get approved for publishing.

If you're logged into your Golden Triangle 247 account and the time needed for approval has passed and you still cannot find your listing, you may email us to follow up.

Unfortunately for you, once you have chosen a username for your Golden Triangle 247 account, you cannot change it.

The reason for this is because of all the other lists and feeds that are released under your username. Things such as job openings, blog entries, classified ads, real estate listings - everything posted on this site is released as an RSS Feed for members to subscribe to and follow. Changing your username would affect the links and bookmarks of everyone's feed.

Everything on your account can be changed at any time except for your username.

To change your email address or any other information, log into your Golden Triangle 247 account using your username and password. Once you are logged in, click on the "My Account" link and click on "Edit".

Make the necessary changes and then save your account information. Changes and updates take affect immediately.

Employers are given the option to allow application handling on their job openings.

If the employer has decided to enable application handling for their job opening, you will see a button that reads "apply now". Simply click on that button and fill out the required information. We will then forward your application to the contact on file for that job opening.

If the employer decided not to enable application handling, you will find additional contact information such as where you can apply in person or send your resume near the end of the job opening. You must be a registered member of Golden Triangle 247 to view this contact information.

An RSS Feed is a file that many web sites use to allow you to subscribe to their content. The file that is sent out is usually in an XML format, though it can vary. The benefit of using an RSS Feed to subscribe to content can be tremendous and can really protect your privacy and your email inbox.

By subscribing to RSS Feeds, you can pick and choose exactly which content you would like to be updated on without having to sign up for any site's newsletter. And instead of having those annoying emails sent to you every few hours or every few days, you can go to your RSS Reader and check on new content whenever you want.

To be able to read the items within an RSS Feed, you will need an RSS Reader. Several are available on the Internet and most are free. Golden Triangle 247 does not endorse the use of any reader over another - find a reader that works for you.

If you signed up for an account, you should have received the email very quickly - usually within about a minute or two.

If you haven't received the email for you to confirm and activate your account, check your spam box first. It's uncommon, but there is always a chance that emails from Golden Triangle 247 may get filtered into your spam box by mistake. Try adding our email address to your contacts to avoid it in the future.

If you've checked your spam box and there is still no email from us, it is possible that you have provided us with the wrong email address. If you think this is the case, email us with your concerns and we will help to get your account updated and activated.

Golden Triangle 247 is set up using a content management system that is very powerful but also very sensitive and picky. For this site to function properly, we rely on the use of cookies to track things like page visits, counters, and statistics. If you have disabled the use of cookies in your browser, the site will not recognize that you've logged in, and you will continue to get logged out until you re-enable cookies through your browser settings.

Golden Triangle 247 uses two systems to operate. One is the site that you see, and another is a database that houses all of the information that you see. Sometimes, these two systems like to argue with eachother. If you see this error message (and it's big, you wouldn't miss it) you can try refreshing your browser window a couple of times and that should clear it up.
