More Oil Washes up onto Bolivar Beaches

KFDM recently reported the news that more oil has been found to have washed up onto the Bolivar Beaches.

According to their article:

"Ellie and Tom Pollard drive their golf cart on the beach every
day on their way to the post office.  Friday morning they noticed clumps
of wet-looking oil lining the sand where the high tide stopped rolling
in.

"As we kept going further and further, maybe one mile down, there
were a couple of extra big ones," Ellie Pollard said.

The big ones were about the size of a large ice chest."

Of course, it has also been reported by other sources that these ice chest-sized tar deposits are not related to the oil spill - So I'm wondering... Is there another oil spill somewhere? How is it possible for there to still be oil seeping up onto our beaches and it not be related to the oil spill? Or is it possible that the "oil inspectors" are purposely claiming that the oil is not BP oil to help keep BP from having to pay us for the clean up?

The article reported by KFDM goes on to speculate where the oil is coming from:

"J.T. Ewing, Texas General Land Office, thinks it's possible the oil
comes from the leak via water plants.

"I have a good suspicion that's where it's coming from," Ewing said.

The vegetation washed up on shore is from fresh water and is covered
in oil."

What do you think? Is it possible that the oil is coming from another source? Or are deep pockets skewing the investigation? What else can we do to make sure that the oil is cleaned up from our shores?
